Darcie Ell was my doula and I cannot say enough about how helpful and knowledgeable she was. I felt completely secure in her very capable hands. She gave me the confidence and comfort I needed to go into a natural childbirth. I also took her birthing class at Longmont Hospital and she really knows her stuff! I could rely on her anytime of day, any day of the week to be there when the big day finally came! She provided so much comfort and information that I knew exactly what was going on at all times. She was my advocate at the hospital and I cannot tell you how much relief that gave my husband! She was completely “there” when I needed her to be, and never overbearing. She took pictures of the birth so my husband could be at my side every second. She helped me get comfortable post birth and guide me with my first breastfeeding. She followed up with a postpartum visit just to make sure I was OK and was adjusting well. She was there for information when I was going through the first time mom roller coaster. I highly recommend Darcie as your doula. I know she will be there for our next baby!
